Agreed its inevitable as Coozer says, but nice to remember the pleasure people brought to us at the time that they pass on!

Met him a few times when he was parachuting at Cranfield, last time I saw him was at a Herc boogie in Belgium

It always surprised me that he never went far in the business. I read he was into stunt work as well, he was a natural for the part. His mate Martin Shaw has adapted well as he got older though.
