Hi All

Anybody clued up on liquid screed (Calcium Sulphate)?

I need to give a 40mm waste attention under the screed - question is, after discing it out and sorting the waste, how do i make good?

Calcium sulphate reacts with cement so cant do that, but i also dont know if/where i can buy a small qty of screed to repair it....

Any thoughts?

Greg

You can get cement based liquid screeds they worked fine with me - check out the data label in your local merchant or B&Q TBH I never knew you could get gypsum based ones!

Cheers!

I've used Latex screed with good results, and despite the name it's not rubbery.

I would go for an epoxy based self leveling grout, bonds very well and as it says on the tin self leveling.

My only experience is with latex screed but I've found they are more self smoothing, not self leveling.
