Does anyone know how to hard reset a LG 27ms73v-pz TV.
I have tried the usual google and Youtube roads, but nothing has been forthcoming.

My son changed the default password, and has since passed away, so we cant ask him.

Anyone got any ideas, as we cant do very much with this almost brand new TV.

But I had already found that site, and no joy, its a new TV less than 1 year old.

I have tried all the usual things and have searched the net for the last couple of hours to no avail.
Its not something that is plastered all over the place on the net.
The LG site and manual are next to useless as well.

Running out of Ideas.

can't help with the tv. really sorry to hear about your son cant be easy especially after what your wife went through. life really isn't fair. hope you are holding up ok all my wishes to you and your family.

I've just tried this guide on an LG TV that was purchased last year and it brings up the password change menu.

To enter Installation menu from the remote control, you need:
Choose any TV channel (it might not work if other input is selected)
Press and hold MENU button on the remote control until TV's menu appears, disappears and channel info appears.
Quickly release MENU button, enter 1105 and press OK.

If your remote control has no MENU button, use HOME button instead.

If you have 2012 model and procedure above doesn't work then you'll need to:
Enter InStart Service Menu
Press Settings button.

It was go to password place
hit Mute button 3 times.
Screen changed form 4 to 6 digit box

Then change password and ok / exit etc.
