Just read that Jack Bruce from Cream has died , sadly another legend gone

My first proper album was a 'Cream' one , Sunshine of your , Love, Crossroads, White Room, Tales Of Brave Ulysses, I Feel Free.

And having played guitar since the 60's , this was the stuff I used to put on the turntable and run slow to try and pickup the riffs and scales.

The only other help back then was my 'Bert Weedon Play In A Day' , (he lied!!).


There have been many rock bands since but you never hear the way , Cream, Rory Gallagher or Jimi Hendrix played they where real bands interacting with each other on the fly.

When you hear Boyzone, Take That, One Direction , McFly etc talk about being in a band it makes my toes curl!!!!!!

That's not to say they dont make popular music ,but it aint a band in my book!!!
