Amazon have made a really good job of Ripper Street even better than the BBC production. The 3rd series has a really good story arc with real surprises, if you need an excuse to get on demand Internet TV for Xmas this is it.

Agreed, really good. Seen series 1 & 2. Have yet to watch series 3. I would have thought all of series 3 would be available on Amazon but they seem to add a new episode each week. I'll wait until their's a few to go at. Well worth watching!

Series 3 is even better than the earlier series, apart from the acting, plot and dialogue, the way it is shot and lit is outstanding.
The version the BBC will show will have a lot of cuts to reduce the running time by 15 minutes.

Signed up for the 30 day trial last night and watched c series 3 episode 1. Very good indeed!
