The glue has given up on one of our bigger kitchen cupboard doors.

Should I just be using some wood glue to try and stick it back down?

It has come off quite a lot but not all the way round so I can't lift it all up and relay it. If that makes sense!

Wood glue would be most logical, but it not being waterproof can mean it'll happen again. Our under sink doors are quite bad for it.

It's awkward to get laminate back on though, you need large flat clamping surfaces and a whole lot of pressure. Last time I tried it I used two other doors and I'm not convinced that was enough. You could see a faint outline where the laminate had peeled back to.

I'll make it waterproof wg in that case.. good point. happens to be the only stuff in the house at the me anyway.

Glue it, put it between two pieces of ply on the garage floor and park your car on it?

This might sound daft, but try ironing it back on, if you put a towel over the affected areas and go over it with a hot iron, it should re activate the existing glue and stich it back together.

I tried it years ago with our old kitchen, and it stayed put till we replaced....

Contact adhesive.

Spray glue contact adhesive from Screwfix. But try the heat first.

Silicone sealant. Sticks like poo to a blanket. Waterproof. Hold it down with masking tape whilst it dries.

When I used to formica the interiors of fairground living trailers, we used Evostick contact adhesive.
