These pictures were taken by the boss when he visited Quito Ecuador.
The guy had built this jalopy himself.
It has a helicopter landing pad with helicopter built in to the outstanding design. Got to give the guy some credit considering the engineering and
his workshop facilities

There was a whole hour programme on the telly a few year back about a South American gentleman with an odd vehicle. If it wasn't this fella he was verrrry similar.
Interesting use of 3"x2" there, I wonder if that's a load bearing tarpaulin on the top ?
did he get it SVA'd maybe a few sharp edges?????
Macspeedy looked at the originals and was amazed how it got together. Check out the open fly wheel

Don't see why we require rubber on our tyres over here, this guy easily proves that canvas is a better material for tyres.
Hmm, fit a blade or abrasive wheel to that flywheel, presto, one lathe or grinder
I'm beginning to see another project here, perhaps your boss could measure it all and then we could publish a book on how to build a similar, but
not the same, car
Hmm!
Wondered what Ron was upto these days.
Phil
I'd like to see a picture of him flying his helicopter
