EE paygo?
coozer - 9/5/15 at 07:09 PM

I'm looking for a data sim for my tablet and wonder what the pros and come are on a data sim?

Tablet is data and text capable but the EE website wants me to register before giving me any info which I'm not keen on.

Can I simply buy the data pack and renew when it runs out, or is it a rolling package requiring a monthly top up??

Any other company's offer a decent coverage I might consider?

Wouldn't mind one I can take to Spain with me without stacking up roaming charges..

Cheers,
Steve

I use EE on my iPad, I buy payg sims off eBay for about £16-£17 a time and this gives me 6gb and 90 days (which ever runs out first) but they are quite pricey to top up hence I just buy another as its the cheapest way to do it.

As for signal I haven't yet lost 3G and regularly get 4G, and I regually have the odd weekend away on my parents canal boat which involves ending up in the middle of know where at the bottom of A valley and it never really seems to struggle much for a signal.

EE/Orange/T mobile e a nightmare to deal with since they merged, managing your account via the website often doesn't work and the 3g coverage which used to be excellent is now dreadful because they have closed down to many 3g towers.
After 12 years with Orange I left and even doing that was a frustrating time consuming process and went to Tesco which is rebranded O2. Try O2 or 3mobile.

I use giffgaff, it's been a brilliant service. They have recently changed their packages (they used to have an unlimited data one that was the cheapest in the UK), but it's still worth a look.

How about 3
http://store.three.co.uk/view/searchTariff?priceplan=&deviceType=SIM_ONLY_MBB&greatForServices=&availableContractLength=1

I use them for my broadband and have had very few problems, the rolling one month contract is useful as well, with no roaming charges for the EU.
