Knowing what a knowledgeable lot you Locosters are can anyone answer this wiring question. My bathroom has two pull switches, one for the lights and one for the extractor fans. I have bought a pull switch with neon indicator for the fan as the current one is a simple light pull and doesn't have a neon. The wiring colours at present are, Power In = blue, brown, earth, Power Out = grey (with a blue marker tape on), blue, black (with a brown marker tape on) earth. My new switch has In = L1, L2, N and Out = L1, L2 N. (common earth point.) Can someone please advise how I wire it up. Cheers in anticipation.

I think you have a timed fan?
These need a permanent live as well as a switched live
You have bought a 3 pole isolator
What switch did you have before, just a standard 1or2 pole light pull switch?
How is it wired at the moment?
Are any joined off the with terminals?

Hiya ReMan, yes it is a standard light pull at present and the fan is timed. At present it is wired with Com = 2 browns, L1 = black with brown marker and the blue and grey with blue marker are joined with a choc block and earths are joined. (think I may have put down slightly wrong colours in my original post.) Hope this helps and thanks for the reply.

What you've bought is a 3 pole isolator with neon.
To replicate what you've currently got, assuming the timer is inbuilt or elsewhere and to work the neon, this should do it.
i'm assuming the neon is powered from L1 OUT , =but you'll also need the Neutral too, possibly even on the N OUT terminal rather than the N IN

i.e. discard the chocolate block and join the blues on one side of the switch.
I've left all the earths off these all need connecting together on the earth terminals
