I'm going away in March for a couple of weeks with some friends. We're driving out to the alps but 2 are coming down from the NE and 3 from the NW. To save time we'd like to meet up somewhere south of Worksop on the A1 and leave one vehicle. So does anybody in the area have space for a car for a couple of weeks and not mind doing me a favour?

You could leave one at mine Adi but I'm about 25 miles off the A1 so would be a 50 mile diversion all round.

does it need a garage or just drive space - there is space at mine - albeit in Leicester

Just drive space needed or even street space but we'd rather not just anonymously dump a car in a random street, hence the request. Detours aren't much of an issue going but on the return when people are tired and just wanting to get home it'd be more so.

Thanks guys, all offers appreciated. Think we're sorted now thanks to r1_pete who replied via u2u (provided the dates work for him). His place is just about perfect for us to avoid detours for both groups.

We had a similar request on the snowHeads ski forum (where we met) for the last month with no offers/result. Generally they're a great bunch but... 24hrs after putting this one up and we've got 5 offers... Gotta love LCB
