I am restoring a very old Triang Vanwall child's pedal car. When I took it to pieces I photographed all the stages for reference when I came to
rebuild. Unfortunately strip down was a good 2 years ago and now I can't find the memory card with the pics on. I'm struggling to work out
how the steering wheel shaft connects to the steering arms. Does any one have an old pedal car that they could take some photos of please, or any
other material that may be useful.
Thanks
Ian
Could you post a photograph of what parts you have ?
The ones I had years ago, the steering shaft was just a long round bar that had a z in the bottom end, and went into
a slot/hole in the steering arm, that operated both wheels

I'll try get some photos of the bits I have
If you youtube - Triang pedal car, there are quite a few restoration vids with shots of the cars "mechanics"
Mr Whippy, thanks for the reply, I think I've found what I need on you tube, I've spent ages googling and never thought of you tube so
thanks again, really appreciated.

YouTube is often helpful for things like this, amazing what other folk find the inclination to film and post videos on.
It's helped me with things like switching tin top service warning lights off and adjusting tin top clocks etc.
