Hi all,
I had to do some rolling a few weeks ago to make a prototype for a customer. Just made do with what I had for the prototype but they now want a few
more parts so thought I'd make myself a little ring roller.
Primarily designed for rolling 80 /100mm wide flat but I shoved a bit of 50x25x3 box through it to see what it would do and I recon that's about
it's limit.
Wish I had this when I built my Haynes. Would have been great for doing the rolled piece on the side of the chassis by your shoulders.
Hope you enjoy the video.
cheers
Top work and top skills there. Love it.
Impressive skills! I really like the way you used to machine itself to make the very last component. I thought it's a bit like lifting yourself up by pulling your socks up.
Thanks for posting Tilly, I wish I had had your tool a few times, same as you with the curved bit by your shoulder on the Haynes Roadster
Top work, so much fun when you get to use a machine you have made yourself.
