I'm gutted. I'm a royal fan. I know we all have a best before date but im gutted to hear she has passed way. RIP

I don't have a lot of time for most of the royal family but she was one of few that deserved respect and admiration and has been there throughout my 56 years.
I agree Sir
My condolences from this side of the pond. She was truly a great person. Russ
Very sad and will be a hard, if not impossible act to follow.
Very sad. To have devoted her life for 70 years and still be working at 96 is incredible, she has done so much for this Country and the Commanwealth over the years. It will take time for us all to adjust to her not being there.
HM Queen Elizabeth II
not
HRH Queen Elizabeth II
She reached 96 and had a good life, so perhaps people should celebrate her life, not mourn her loss.
What's got right up my nose is the BBC's sycophancy - BBC1 and BBC2 showing exactly the same programme on the night, BBC4 shut down for the
evening, countless pundits talking endlessly with very little to actually contribute (just filling in time), and so on. And they'll carry on
doing this for the next week or so...
At least ITV News did their piece, reported whatever was appropriate, then shut up.
BBC as the national broadcaster will always be criticised, damned if it does damned if it doesn’t. More of a point how would you feel starting a new job at 73!
Not really a new job though is it, it's just a mild change of duties. Like being promoted from Line manager to Site manager, he's had the longest time to be prepared for it, it's not like when she was made queen in the first place...
