974.2kb/s at home.
On a 1Mb/sec line, so not too bad...
i stumbled accross this the other night, confirmed my connection speed is 2mb at home, but the isp is cr*p and seems slower than dialup a lot of the
time, not to mention kicking me off every now and again shame as it was actually a suggestion off someone on here, but they weren't to
know...

Mine is 466.3 kbs on a 512kbs adsl
Soon to be upgraded to 2mb free soon i hope. I wish BT would hurry up and get on with it
Not very accurate.
Only downloads a 50k file, this would be ok to estimate dialup speed but not broadband.
I prefer this http://www.adslguide.org.uk/tools/speedtest.asp
Mine was 419.8 Kbps but am stuck with 512 due to line length (well for the time being anyway)
yup not very accurate, network at the office should be much faster than this:
speedtest
Ok i have tried adslguide.org.uk and it's come back with:
Downstream 471 Kbps (58.9 KB/sec) 508 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 250 Kbps (31.3 KB/sec) 270 Kbps (inc. overheads)
I'm happy with that.......untill they upgrade me!
