Just got back from the Historic Sports Car Club race meeting at Cadwell Park.
I've never been to Cadwell before. What a track, brilliant atmosphere and great views. You can get really close to the action.

When I get the car finished I'll be looking for a trackday there. Anyone raced / tracked here?
We went down to see a friend, Andy, who races a 1962 Series 2 Caterham, and he won his race!!!
Me and ben
And I got to have a sit in the winning car!

Overall a brilliant day, great racing, great weather and great company.

(P.S. Did see several beautiful classic Jags, Fords, BMW's and TR's turned from concours classics into restoration projects though)
Used to race there in 210 karts, interesting circuit , long straights, dodgy gooseneck , up over the mountain ,though the esses turn right by ythe cottage front gate!! , next right was barn corner ,and there really was a barn and a pond as i remember!!!, but I'm sure it's changed now.................
been there once to watch some bikes, bit awkward to get to, but well worth it.
friend of mine wrote off his first race car at the gooseneck too....
Ned.
raced around cadwell many times its my favourite of all the circuits.
I tracked my bike up there 2 weeks ago.
Guiness, do they use the 'squiggle' before the sharp left up to the Mountain with the cars 'cos it really steadies up the bikes and
looked too narrow for cars!!!
John
its a great track i used to race bikes there and fell off!!!!
someone once told me if you can race there and win you can race anywhere and win
the goose-neck must the worst part thats where i feel off most
I like that circuit but I'm afraid my favourite circuit for viewing is Mallory. For excitement Donnington takes some beating. Scenery - Oulton park.
Hopefully will be one of the first destinations when our build is done, the best in the country imho! Britains own little Nordschleife
John, the little 'squiggle' isn't used by cars i don't think, its too slow those maniac bikers before the mountain as there was a
v. nasty crash there a couple of years ago.
