anyone out there in locost land know the location of the central locking relay on a pug 106?

O/S footwell if I remember correctly, roughly the same place as a Vauxhall. But I might be getting confused with 205's.....I guess you are having trouble with it? You probably already know this, but 99% of the time the problems usually stem from the wiring loom breaking between the drivers door and pillar. V common Pug problem

Don't know about the 106, but way back in '92 they put mine in the glove box, just reach up and it's there (Pug 405).

If not try the uk.rec.cars.maintenance newsgroup.

No good comparing to Vauxhall m8s, ask a vauxhall electrical tech where a relay might be and the answer is usually:- anywhere on the car you just have to look for it.

First if you've got a problem with central locking is to check the fuses (sorry if I'm teaching Grandma to suck eggs), then check supply & earth to master control unit. Then its either relay or wiring as aplicable. Door pillars, glovebox, behind dash, engine bay. sorry but without component location book (at work & I'm still off) I can't be more specific. Oh and its not unusual for them to have ECU faults on the alarm system.
