bedsit - 30/11/01 at 10:13 AM

Hello, I've had some good advice from Dunc and Chris. Has anyone made or seen a Locost type with either an Alfa 75 3Litre V6 or an alfa 33 1.7 boxer angine in it. Good advice so far has sugestted getting hold of a mot failiure sierra for the running gear anyway ?

Getting hold of an MOT failed Sierra for the running gear is a good idea. Personally, I've never seen an Alfa 75 3 Litre V6 nor a 33 1.7 boxer engine fitted. Ever thought about a bike engine

PS - Sorry for the late reply

1.7 boxer is probably too wide to fit, but with its transaxle it would make a good midi engine

Johnmor is putting an Alfa 75 V6 in his car IIRC.

I have an Alfa Spider at the moment, 2.0 TS, had it about 2 years and I wouldn't entertain another Alfa. Just constant little things forever going wrong. I know the V6's are fast but just not worth the hassle in my opinion.

Nearly kept it going for 3 hours and even got two replies after mine before you spotted it Joel.
