A poor copy of a Jaguar XKSS?

Looks real to me, but I'm a Yank Maybe it looks off because of the color.

Hard to believe those beauties were built in 1956!

It's a kit car. I took the pic at Stoneleigh. Is it really an XKSS?
Cheers
Jon

Must be a Lynx.

Looks like a D type for the road.

It is most definately a Jaguar SS XK, and, yes, a road going D type....of which not very many were made (originally), they were made in the mid 1950's. Its like a short-nosed D type, but with all the 'road bits' on it.
And of course minus the 'fin'...

That's exactly what an XKSS was http://www.xkevocation.com/xkss.html

Definitely looks like on http://www.lynxmotors.co.uk/index1.htm

Although some would consider using a Jaguar E-Type as a donor car sacrilige (sp?) !!!
