Snowing like buggery in Leeds/Bradford just now :O Was forecast to be sunny all day so I'm in the TVR instead of the wife's Al Murray. Could be an interesting drive home

What was a Lord doing standing in the snow for that long?

careful as she goes mate. I was caught out in a maserati 3200gt last year. Spun it, couldn't get traction = look like a twit!

Got home okay, well I say home, I mean about 50 yards from home - couldn't get up the ungritted hill to my house. Couldn't get any traction even with tickover starting in second! Had to park up off a sideroad away from people skidding on the main road :O

Was very snowy when I left work though, and icing up quickly in the tracks other cars were leaving. In the end I was actually trying to drive on the snow because it offered more grip!

Scary though - not so much the rear wheel sledges of the TVR, but other people. The amount of people locking or spinning their wheels as if they were unaware that the white stuff is slippy was mind boggling :O Maybe the promenence of front-wheel drive cars disconnects people from the potential danger of sliding?
