Paintless dent removal.

Just changed our family car, and its got a couple of small dents in the rear door, bashed with a shopping trolly.
Got a local dent bloke to come and have a look. He tuns up with a bag of levers and 20mins later all fixed! Just lowered the window and wedged it over slightly, in with a long lever and a few gentle twists and taps with a hammer using a cloth and no sign of the damage. £45 for 20mins work good for him and cheap repair for me! Very good skill to learn.

My next door neighbour had a similar problem with his front wing on his Pug. My mate who's a mechanic sorted it in a similar way with a bolster!! neighbour happy cos it was free...

which was nice!

had my old escort repaired like that. total genius the guy was. there was a dent in the feature line of the rear quarter where my video camera decided to throw it's self off the roof and one in the tilgate, don't think it even took 10 minutes and they were gone.

the guy said it took him 6 years to get to the point where he was totally confident of removing any dent and he was damn good at what he did.

a mate got sent on a 3 day course through the local ford dealer to learn dent removal, came back thought he was great, set about a brand new mondeo and made it 100 times worse! needless to say he was no longer asked to do that job
