I have recently sold a LandRover manual on Ebay and despite listing as UK only, the winning bidder is from Canada.
I have tried to find the cheapest way to send it but even by surface it's £30 (ish) with the PO/Parcel Force.
Any suggestions??
It weighs 2.5kg and the PO only do papery stuff to Canada max 2kg.
I know it's the buyers problem really but I'm a nice sort of blokey so I'd like to assist!
Any help will be appreciated.
Tell him how much it will cost.
If he isnt happy with it tell him it said in the description that it was UK post only...

i was recently going to send a kite over to canada, a big kite surfing one and despite saying email for a quote the buyer didn't and then found
out it was going to cost him about £80 via parcel force staandard! i did find a cheaper service, its parcel force ecnomy and knocked the price down to
£55 but it takes a month to get there! will be the cheapest option tho!
the buyer gave me a english address to send to in the end.
have just taken a look on parcel force, the cheapest option is £29.35. this is cheapest u will probally get it for as i spent ages looking at other
couriers. tho someone else may know better!
just as an aside u will need to put the buyers phone number on the item as they ask for this to be done for stuff sent to canada. it is in the general
information about shipping to canada.
hope u can sort it out!
shipping UK to Canada is a very odd - I was able to get a windshield for a for my old Reliant Scimitar GTE from the UK for about £80 in postage. It was through FedEx if I remember correctly.
well 8 kilos is about £55, so i guess it would be about £80 for a windscreen as they are less than 30kg. the first few kilos seem really expensive then they get cheaper after that.
Cheers folks. I can disect it (it is loose leaf!) and send two parcels for £15.
How daft is that?!!
