I changed the date on my pc and updated say out of date norton or the likes.........
i dont no about norton, but i no it works for alot of programs, like when they have a 30 day trail for example
did you take note of the.........
i have now

I know someone who did that
Said person ended up F discing his computer to get rid of the two virus' that Norton let through.
I don't rate Norton, much happier with McAfee even through it takes ages on start up.
Norton sucks. McAfee is superior, but I had soem trouble with it. I now use FreeAV because its free and works brilliantly.

Ive got AVG too, that seems too work fine.
Never tried changng the dates, but it works with NAV2003 if you uninstall the original and start afresh

What you saying??? BTW is the ink on the fiver dry yet?![]()
You just need to get/buy
the buisiness solution.
Symantec Corporate Edition Anti Virus
thats the way to go!
Tks
p.d. the date trick only worksif you keep the date between OK date but don't put it before install or don't change it if you have had the
message "need to but" etc.
because then many programs block...
Tks
Buy the full version of AVG youll be amazed at what it finds that the free version lets through !!
We use mcafee here at work -ford-umpteen thousand pcs but it takes alot of resources. I find avg free will find stuff that mcafee passes. I have not
tried the pay version of avg but will from the prievious post.
Norton I will not touch with a 10 foot pole. It has destroyed most every pc I have ever seen it on. I used to use sygate firewall which was great
untill norten bought them and then cancled the suport and updates for them so their product would sell. Outpost is great for that.
