Anywhere hire sat navs?

As the title, i am going to France in June and would like to use a sat nav. I do not want to buy one as i have very little use of one at any other time.

Does anyone hire them out?

I guess i will need a Tom Tom 700 or equivalent???

I needed something similar (decent GPS) and found that if you buy second hand off ebay, then sell it again, you only lose one leg of postage.

Michelin produce pretty good maps of France

I was in an identical situation a few months ago. Wanted a sat nav for France but couldn't justify the expense because I wouldn't use it that much. As luck would have it, my father in law was also considering buying one but had the same dilemma, so I ended up going halves with him for a Tom Tom 700.

the tom tom 700 is £325 at argos i think, not too bad a price.

Just find the N138, head straigh down it, should come across a large motor racing circuit. We will see you at indianapolis corner friday afternoon!

You're right - it is dead easy to find. Just follow all the other British cars
