Advice and possibly help needed.

I was out with a female friend tonight and it turns out her cousin works at the local strip club and my friend asks if we could go in and see her. ok says I what's the worst that could happen?

Now before I continue I would like to point out that I am a straight guy with a high sex drive, this was my first time in a strip club and the girls in the club were very attractive for the most part....

So why is it that while in the club I found myself wondering what fixings they used to keep the pole upright.

Having been thinking this I am now very worried........ I'm turning into an engineer!!!!!

I find myself looking at how supermarkets are held together. I look at how the ducting is suspended and on a recent trip to Blackpool, I found myself asking a laaaadeeee in a lapdancing club, where the cheapest petrol station was. I then proceded to ask how on earth her top stayed up as, from an engineering point of view, it should have been around her ankles. She explained the details of 'T1t tape' and other such things. Marvellous.

Don't worry, about it I spent four years training to be an engineer, and now all I wonder is where my local pub is!

must be to do with, doing for a job vs doing it for fun........ (engineering that is )

that story went a different direction from what i was thinking. but also i look at fixings and think to myself hows does that work, could i make a boot box from that etc....

Come on then, you have us all on the edge of our seats now, "how was it fixed"? And was it a dry sump or wet sump lubrication type pole ???

Heh heh yep thread went a different way to where I was thinking too!!!

Won't go into the story about me and a mate getting kicked out of a strip club, that was a funny night!!!!...........

To be honest they're no really my cup of tea, seem a bit sad to me, but still a bit of fun once in a while I suppose, was quite funny a little while back at a place in Bristol, I ended up getting cajoled into going for the private dance, as you do, went in the little curtainy room and there was already somebody in there! The girl with him abandoned him and both of them set about me, which I must admit was good fun

Don't worry about a bit of engineering poking it's nose in though, always does the same with me!!

If a stripper sees someone in a club they know from outside they are under orders not to perform and must stop. Wont say how I know though.

For those interested it was a chrome coated pole that was bolted into position (the person I spoke to didn't know what bolts were used) with the bolts covered by a chrome cap thingyame.

The pole appered to be damp sump! lol.

And yes I was cajolled into a private dance... which again was weird, or rather the result was weird. Not at all what I was expecting.

Releived to know that I am not the only one that in this sort of situation finds themselves thinking such thoughts. Was a little worried last night when I posted the thread.

I'm sorry to hear you were a 'little' worried............
