Now here is the bitch of it. To get the free cover you have to apply for a no obligation quotation from NU. Fine no probs. The cover they are offering is comprehensive at half the price of my Tpf&t cover for my 250k miles 90bhp Diesel tin top That’s also with NU

I’ve done a bit on eBay and you get good and bad experiences .so I just wondered

Its an excellent way of selling if your self employed but

EBAY Will take over everything if they get half the chance

you are not your own boss ebay is

there customer service should have an investigation on it

because its all automated

and if you get a prob with actually selling it takes days before any action is took

Been using it since it started and apart from one occasion when my identity was 'borrowed' (quickly resolved though) I have had no problems - in fact most of my car has been bought on eBay saving me loads of dosh

I've snagged some good deals so far from eBay so I loving I guess. I sold a box full of Datsun 510 parts for a tidy sum too. Only one rotten guy in many, many transactions.

The car was as beter than hoped , Thing is my Mum's now nicked it. Still as long as I get it back when the mot has run out

I've bought some really good stuff of eBay, including a spanner that I got for 1p, plus p&p. Cheaper than the petrol to get to my nearest hardware shop and delivered to my door.

most people of there are genuine and there are bargains to be had.

There are one or two to watch out for. I bought an R1 engine off eBay. £600 or £700 complete. Well not as complete as advertised. The seller offered to buy it all back but then changed his mind. He forwarded me one of the missing parts then wouldn't answer emails. eBay eventually refunded me the maximum £115. After a good service, the engine runs well. The £115 paid for the missing clocks and I'm a few hundred quid up on normal prices.

eBay, don't pay more money than you're prepared to lose.

Picked up this little baby off there at the weekend.(all original) It's a 1.6 MK1 Golf Cabriolet and needs a few quid spending on it. I'm moving away in September and was gonna get a Fiesta/ Escort or something boring like that... then I thought sod it, you're a long time dead.

My old man (pictured) trying the rears out for size yesterday. Doesn't half put a smile on your face, it sounds great!

I voted something else. I really do think that as long as everyone goes by the book and is up front then its a good idea. But I got ripped of for £25 quid on a part from a car that was breaking for spares. You'd to email the guy for the part you needed etc etc suffice to say there was no ebay notification of parts or money changing hands etc so no come back.
I've still got all the guys details etc so you never know what might happen As I always say a deals a deal and it may as well have been £ 25000 as far as I'm concerned. There were a few of us done and we got together but no joy from ebay. So we started email every bidder on every item he had up for sale and he eventually made all auctions private. After a couple of weeks he pulled oput of ebay, but I still keep an eye out for the filthy theiving pickey bastard

i got a new 80 tooth saw blade delivered today, £12 all in, im sure it was £40 last time i got one.
