A mate has lost the key for his Honda 400EX Quad and asked me if I could bypass the wiring for him. It's all above board etc so I have no probs with it.
The wiring to the key switch is
Black/white
Black
Red
Green
As the machine has a push button start what are all the wires for?
Which ones are joined together when the key is turned etc.

black and red on ours which has had the same problem.

but we had pink and pink and white left over that are joined together

up to you to decide if they are the same
