Freezone Internet - AVOID!!!
stevebubs - 13/6/06 at 09:42 AM

Trying to transfer my domain away from them to a new supplier.

so far, I've been hung up on twice and been told that I have to pay a £50 transfer fee. I've not met such a bunch of cowboys for quite a while - and I've been in the internet industry 10+ years....

If you want to register a domain name AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE

reg all our domains through freeparking.co.uk and then use their DNS service so that all domains stay under our control, doesnt matter who the site is hosted by then.
Bit late i know but may be worth bearing in mind for the future!!

Originally went with Freezone due to their DNS Management...didn't know about freeparking at the time....

Do Freeparking give you a control panel for DNS? So you can make your own changes?

what is the going rate for a URL and redirection?

my www.micky2eyes.com seems to get more expensive every year

Ditto.
Although I use www.zoneedit.com for dns management as they offer MX backups for $5 or so a year
