I remember hearing about a woman who split up from her hubby who left her. He asked her to sell the Jag for him so she advertised it for about £10 in the local papers adn a chap rang and asked if this was for real at which she said yes so the deal was done. The Jag was only a couple years old and worth thousands. The husband was not very happy as you can guess but it taught him that thats what happens when you fool arround!

I was told that story as well.

However...

A very quick google produces this which may consider a slight rethink on the provenance of this story...

At £500.00 it's not bad. I inherited one recently, it was too far gone to repair but I broke it & made over £1k on the parts. Not bad for a couple of weekends work!
