afternoon all,

well after 4 interviews, 2 assessments, and an interview and assessmentt day, i was finally offered a job today with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, as a Branch Manager Graduate Trainee, it has been a very rigorous procedure, but i got there in the end.

A few perks, more money, i get to drive brand new car all day! and the best I DONT HAVE TO WORK NIGHTS ANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woohooooooooooooooooooo

I start in two weeks time so im hopefully going to get a bit more time on the car

ATB everyone, i just thought i would share the GREAT news!

Nice one mate, I'm currently applying for grad jobs and am finding it bloody hard going! Application forms the size of a small novel, companies not replying for weeks on end, if at all, and I haven't even started on the whole interview/assessment day malarkey yet!

I was beginning to think they only do it for fun and never actually employ anyone, now you've given me hope

Pete

hiya pete,

i sent off over 30 applications before i heard from anyone! now i know why it is so hard to get a graduate job, its because none of the bloody companies get back to you! they just say that your application has been recieved and it is being reviewed! some dont even say that! the best way to get a job in my opinion is to go to the head office of a company and ask to speak to the head of recruitment or send that person an e-mail direcctly, that way you get noticed.

steve, is that a photo of the enterprise branch on holbrooks lane? it doesn't look like it, the sky is toooo blue that must be one of the branches in the states, i see a palm tree in the background, unless its a branch in newquay

ATB Alex
