ok a bit of subject i know.
i have a few flats i rent out and its time i looked at the rent i charge, all 4 flats are the same size over a few shop units, all one bedroom but
have bath room kitchen and a double bedroom whole flat is about 4meters wide by 14meters long diveded into 4 rooms.
what sort of price would you pay in your area, i'm charging £400pm inc service charge, the flats are very nice new places with gas water heating
and fully furnished to a resonable standard, good enough for me to live in.

it entirely depends on the area imho, mine are rented for 50 and 60 pw, to housing benefit claimants. A poor rent, but the houses are fairly cheap and
in crap areas.
Some of the property price websites also do rental guides IIRC.
Have a look on http://www.singingpig.co.uk , its a forum about money but there is a busy landlord section.

A 1 bed flat where I live will make upto 600 pcm due to be being surrounded by yanks from the airbases, I think there min allowance for a single
person is 720pcm
down here its more like £6-700 but its expensive down south
if your making money and they are all occupied then id go with inflation and be happy that they arent empty. once you get towards a rent that could pay a small mortgage the kind of tenants you get are not worth having imo
