I bought an engine mount off ebay for my road car and after waiting 2 weeks after payment I sent an email asking where it was, they responded saying
they had been away so they will send it straight away, another week i waited and nothing, so sent another email, nothing, a few more days i tried
another email. After a week i got bored and filed a dispute with paypal, this got them going and they said it must have been lost in the post and they
eventually sent out another.
I leave negative feedback on ebay, as it took over a month to receive the mount and they only sent it once i filed a dispute.
They have sent me an arsy email saying im an idiot for leaving negative feedback as they sent the second mount free of charge and special delivery and
im never welcome to use them again!
The fact is i paid postage for the supposed first mount that never arrived it was up to the to send it special delivery i didnt care, i just wanted it
arrive.
What annoys me though is they have left me negative feedback after i paid them within minutes of the auction ending. Sent them many pleasent emails
even when i had been waiting 3 weeks. This is what they left "Cant do enough for some people !!, BEWARE if you deal with this idiot"
I just want to repsond to the feedback to leave my side of the story as it puts a blemish on my 100% feedback rating.
I hate people who give bad service on ebay and still expect good feedback, surely this is what the whole feedback system is for on ebay.
I think i am lucky this is the first time i have had to leave negative feedback, just a shame they felt the need to do the same!
After all the ranting all i need to know is how to leave a response for feedback as they have done that on the one i left for them. Also is there a
way of reporting feedback to ebay?
Cheers
Tell em to pi$$ off.
i've been there before, thankfully i was the seller and the following person who bought the item (after the first one walked straight out of my
house after trying to knock me down on price when I'd had lots of bidders) left good feedback saying the other user must be a muppet and what he
said was blatent lies - unfortunately this isn't going to work for you unless you find other disgruntled customers from the same seller...
Having been there myself this is a massive hole in the feedback system.
The only thing I do differently now is wait for the other user to leave feedback first, the frustration is when they don't or are evidently
waiting for you to do so, so none ever gets left for the f*ckers, but then at least you don't get tarred by the same brush.
Ned.
ps alternatively you have their address, so get someone to deliver some manure through their letterbox or summat
ps here's my feedback, see for yourself the two muppets I've had to deal with:

if you want to get your own back, make up some car details put an advert in autotrader with there phone number
i used to do this to my old boss every other week just to keep him on his toes
This is the reason why it's best to wait until the 3 month time limit (or however long it is) is just about up before leaving bad feedback
That way they don't get chance to bad you back!
I had exactly the same issue as you a few weeks ago. Bought a bike, paid within a few minutes of winning, it took nearly two months for the wheels to
arrive (a further two weeks for the rest of it!) and i'm given negative feedback after giving it to him. Again, ruining my 100% positive
feedback.
I looked into it on the ebay site and you can have it taken away. However you have to prove what they say is factually incorrect and that it is not
just ''because you think it's unfair" and as above it takes ages so i didn't bother. I just left a correct, calm (calm as its
possible to be!) response below their comment so people can see you're pretty genuine.

ummm- there is actually something you can do to SOLVE the problem- email the seller, and tell him you will remove the neg feedback if you do too- it
will say on your feedback scor 'buyer and seller mutually agreed to remove feedback' or you can post a follow up feedback to them, or get
them to do the same for you.
i cant help how exactly to do this, but it shouldnt be too hard to find out using the help search on ebay.
ps. i think this is almost instant, with no monthly wait.

i wouldnt agree to have it mutually removed. Ive bought loads of things off people with negs, its often the case that it was retaliatory rather than a
real negative. Just leave a simple explanation "retaliatory negs left by the bottom feeders in the ebay pond"
Try here and just put that you waited a month for the goods and this is
the service you got. You can use the same page to leave a follow up to their feedback excuse after the neg you left them.

So its not just me that the Locostbuilders site freezes on now and again then? Pushing the "Submit" button repeatedly in impatience does
work tho!

Some twot left me bad feed back just because I asked about his returns procedures. I was worried because he said he would refund if you were not happy
but the postage costs were far more than the item value and his refunds wouldn't cover the P&P.
I explained this to Ebay and the neg feedback was removed within a week.
It is also my policy now to insist that folks leave me positive feedback as soon as they recieve payment from me or I will not leave them positive FB.
I mention it in the instructions box when I pay. I say something along the lines of 'please leave positive feed back as soon as the payment has
been recieved and I will do the same as soon as I recieve the item. I will not leave feedback if you do not play ball!'
