I read today that Microsoft have won the contract for the standardised F1 ECUs.
That'll be three more buttons on the steering wheel then...
CTRL ALT DEL

So you'l have to close all your windows then restart to get it to work properly!! Could be difficult on an F1
Heh - they'll be pulling into the pits for 'CRITICAL UPDATES and SERIVCE PACKS'
Can just see James Allen - screaming - oh no he's installing the service pack twice and now the CPU has locked up - oooh this is ruining his
race! REBOOT REBOOT - whilst Martin Brundle is patiently saying, no James - END TASK, END TASK - it's quicker

This car has encountered a critical error and must shutdown. SEND REPORT DON'T SEND

All joking aside (and lets be honest, there are a lot of jokes to be made here!) I think the actual ECUs are going to be designed and made by McLaren
Electronics Systems, and Microsoft seems to be there solely to wield their sponsorship chequebook ...
Cheers
