hi all.
to cut a long story short, i was involved in an accident in march, and im still struggling to get the other drivers insurance to pay out. It was
completely his fault, my main problem is that the idiot copper at the scene recorded it as 50/50, even though i called him specfically because the
other driver denyed it was his fault. Trouble is is that it was quite a complex roundabout and tother driver misread it.
So, does anyone know how i go about getting the report corrected? I have photos of the scene that are pretty damning.
Any help much appreciated. cheers!
Citizens advice bureau; or try getting a claims firm to take over the case. The reason I suggest a claims firm is that as they work for YOU not the
insurance company, they are more likely to try and get judgement in your favour. Their costs (to the insurers) go up quickly too which tends to hurry
your insurer along.
Good luck
Claims can take sseveral years for a cut and dry case. If you dont believe me ask my (atm) understanding bank manager.
lol, cheers chaps. Being 3rd party only tesco werent being too helpful, as soon as i mentioned the damage to his van and the railings, they became a
lot more concerned!
Spoke to the police, they tell me that accident reports cost £140, but dont decide liability, so it looks like his insurers are telling porkies!
Guy ran a Red Light on me - totalled my car and it took about 30 months to sort it - don't hold your breath.
I ran my supermoto bike into the front of an arsehole coming towards me when he decided to overtake the car in front of him.
Burbery hat, 30mph town centre zone,21 years old, 206gti.
His fault, prosecuted for it quickly. That happened on the 7th September 2005.
I am using a no loss claims soliciter and had a miserly offer yesterday, considering I nearly died its an insult and I am still waiting for the
salvage money for my bike.
My mate had the same kind of accident 3 years ago and is still argueing with the insurance company. He is fairly crippled, I am OK now, just the scars
on my memory!
A big insurance company (NU) and they have been rubbish at paying me out.
