As the title and a question I've been going to ask for a while.

I save silica gel bags and use them to try and stop stuff getting damp in my garage and in the house, I put them inside my RC planes as one example and in my guitar cases as another (obviously don't keep my guitars in the garage).

They are quite well sealed in the fuz and in guitar cases, but no doubt they don't work for too long.

I wondered if you can stick them in the microwave or on a radiator and dry them out.

Anyone know?

I had some huge 1 kilogram ones a while back that came from a missile storage case They had instructions on the outside to refresh them by putting them in an oven. Can't remember the temperature or time though.
