Will have too unroll it and measure again, I knew I would, just CBA, if your interested u2u ma n can do a deal, I didnt pay ott for it just happy with money back if it goes too someone on here.

wilkingj - 4/9/06 at 08:03 PM

Damn.. just bought a roller door.

They should fetch good money.
You can put a motor inside the roller / pipe which is how mine works.

I would have put a reserve of £100 on that. A roller door of industrial grade is nearly £1k new.

Are they 3" Galv laths with little plastic bits rivetted on the end?. If it is then you can extend the height by adding more Laths.
Laths come in 6 metre lengths so 1 bit will do two when you cut it in half.
6 x 6m lengths and a load of plastic ends cost me about £40.

Make sure you bolt the roller shutter at floor level when it's shut. A friend was broken into by levering the bottom up and then putting a jack under and jacking it up, it cost him £200 to get the door and runners fixed as well.

Is she selling the house a bit at a time Jon?
