is there an easy way of fitting wheel bearings on my trailer as i dont have a press.
A socket around the same size and a hammer,
When doing similar jobs in the past I have usually stripped the parts down to the minimum, cleaned them all up, then taken the bits round to a local
small garage to be pressed together.
They appreciate not having to do all the dirty work and stripping down, and rarely charge more than £5 or £10 for their efforts... occasionally they
charge nothing!

My trailer uses Mini rear hubs and the bearings pull on with the nut without any extra assistance. As long as you get enough to thread the nut on you
should be o.k. I have had to give them a couple of turns of the nut then take it off to fit the washer but they are a sliding fit on the stub axle and
fit to the hub easily enough without a press, just a knock in with a drift.
