CCTV camera test
skydivepaul - 17/10/06 at 02:15 PM

we are just testing a new CCTV camera in our offices, it is sort of a cross between a webcam and an IP camera. It has a built in web server and DDNS which means you can fit it anywhere in the world on a broadband connection without a static IP address.

please take a look and any feedback will be appreciated.
It is obviously not as sophisticated as some of the higher end cameras and systems that we install but the price of these cameras will be around 500 quid supplied and fitted.

cheers paul

There's not much happening in your office. You must have longer tea breaks than me!

That's rather good!

The camera is our "demo" room which also doubles as a canteen. all the boys are out working so not much in the way of action. I'll see if i can put something more interesting in there for you to look at!!!!

That is quite cool.

Can this one be setup to have a motion detection setup. I.e. i will email footage of incedents if the camera detects motion ?

But that is a very clever - I like

Who are the guys in the stocking masks?
Sorry, seriously I only get the buffered image - probably cos you've gone home & turned it off. The buffered image looks rather over exposed.

yes the camera has video motion detection and also a built in PIR sensor. this savs the images to a buffer, you can have it email you if you like with the images. the next model has an SD card slot so you can have 20,000 images stored on it.

see my first post for my indy cam

Your garage looks more like a lounge. Nicely painted and a dam grut radiator.

That is a nice piece of kit.
