does anyone know where i can purchase a mini wiring loom apart from mini spares who want £150!! thought i might be able to get one abit cheaper

The Mini Shop in Enfield ? always found them to be very helpful and prices good. Might be worth checking your local Rover parts department, you never know ?

You could adapt a kit loom and it would be better than a basic Mini loom, assuming you want a few fancy bits as well as basic instrumentation.
