My mate got caught speeding on his way down to my place on a stretch of road that had had the limit changed since he was last down. Pled guilty by
letter. Got notification that he had better appear on the new date, if he didn't they would consider a custodial sentence.
When I reported a local Councilor for breaking and entering and criminal damage, the local police said it was a civil matter.
