Anyone know of insurance companies that will accomodate a under 21 for a BEC 919cc Fireblade MK Indy.
Have rang:-
Adrian Flux, got to be 25
Sureterm Direct, got to be 21!! (not 21 for 11months!!)
I know there are loads more out there, just wondered if anyone knew of a good company without me wasting to much time being refused!!
Thanks in advance
Mike
I've always used Osborne and Son - I have no idea whether they'll insure you, but they're worth a try.
I seem to think that Footman James will insure under 21's, but it may be for ahem, 'self-assembly' cars such as Cateringvans....
I was insured with adrian flux in july aged 22????
and it only cost £420
Ages could be the other way around then could be sureterm 25 and adrian flux 21???
Mike
you could borrow me your car for 11 months then Ill borrow you my vvc metro you can insure it as a 1.4 gsi
and then well swap back
I could but my girlfriend has a 1.4 metro so i dont fancy having a his and hers

there you go you can vvc it for her cost about 600 quid plus some odds and ends
will pull away from a 230 brake scoob
Ive even got rspca stickers in the back
I hope it handles better than hers, its like a canal boat round corners!! I love how you can nearly tip it on its nose when you brake hard though!!
Mike
when done properly they handle
have you seen that talon sports car one going round at the kit car shows
back on topic, footman james have covered me since i was 19.
i think you'll struggle to find anyone that covers under 21s on a bec though. i can't think why!
tom
Thanks tom,
I know, i cant think why either!!
Looks like it could be track days only 4 me
Mike
