Pezza - 16/11/06 at 09:56 PM

This one's got me stumped!
It's part of a christmas Do thingy, all correct answers go into a hat for a box of chocs lol.
It's my mums and she's asked me for help, but tbh i'm kin useless at this type of thing.

5918957 31 133 1 16259 81777 389912411 154 1 4597 167633 555 7519 655 417 12 1 2945

Any of you lot got any ideas?

Cheers

Pez

good god, who does she work for, NASA?! its not a simple code. With 26 letters and only ten numbers, it cant be one for one. The triple 7 and triple 5 discounts that, and it also cant be numbers from 1 to 26, as you still couldnt account for the triples.

sorry too nab the topic but here is an easier one I cracked this afternoon....

5 10 15 20 25 ??

I wouldn't have a clue on the answer too the one posted above......

Done it.... Simple really:

1 = a or j or s
2 = b or k or t
3 = c or l or u
4 = d or m or v
5 = e or n or w
6 = f or o or x
7 = g or p or y
8 = h or q or z
9 = i or r

Simply replace the numbers for letters, and choose the right letter to give the right word!

for example the first word is "Wishing" (5918957)

Should I go on?

Cheers
Andy

Cracking codes is one things, but understanding Welsh is beyond me! I had to ask SWMBO to decipher, and:

You're welcome!

Cheers
Andy

Gutted - I was looking forward to having a go at that later.

As for the Welsh, we don't get too much of it down here - I haven't had a lesson since I was 4. However, even I cracked that bit.

Think I'll stick to Glassgow "patter"

Some body once told me that it was impoosible to swear in welsh -- after a Google I now know not true

Thank you Andy. My missus is the native Welsh speaker. I just keep her in tucks with my attempts to learn it.

Yes - ok, it gets a bit of use in the Capital, but nothing like up North.
