Photoshop...always has to be. At the end of the day its still the best available, and if you want to stay legal you can buy a lite copy for about £100.

Corel & Photoshop are monster progs which are great for the intermediate to expert user - definitely not for beginners though.

Paintshop pro is fairly good and free too.

Gimp is free and quite easy to use. It's available for Mac and PC too.

I tried using this - it's not very user friendly and IMHO difficult to get accustomed to. I ditched it and continued with Photoshop CS2
