I was lucky as mine was changed proir to Chris leaving for his 4 month Carribean vacation paid for by the kind subscribers

Cheffy - 2/1/07 at 10:44 AM

I donated on 13th December but not updated as yet.

Looking at the earlier posts above from late November I see they still haven't been updated so I'm guessing there's no need to start panicking just yet?

What is it your all worrying about? or do you need to hear from him about ? OK a reply to acknowledge the money fair enough

youve donated to the site because your happy to with the help gained etc the moneys gone in his ass pocket and a bit to running the site which so it should it was his idea and thats that.

are you all that worried about the contributor sign? apart from the fact it tells others youve paid some £

you can all send me a tenner if you want ill send you a good sticker saying your a contributor

Aboardman - 2/1/07 at 11:58 AM

i too have paid but i am not bothed about the contributer sign,

If the above quote is for my benefit:-

Yes, I donated because I wanted to and yes, I'm peased with all the help I've received from this site.

Furthermore, no, I'm not worried, and frankly, I don't care what Chris does with the money. After the many hours he must have spent pampering to all our demands I think he fully deserves any benefits that may come his way as a result of all his hard work on this site.

The reason I posted was mainly out of curiosity and if I'm honest, yes I did wonder about the 'contributor' logo. The only reason I enquired about it however, was not for any sense of self satisfaction but simply that many others here have contributed and I didn't want to be seen as taking all the benefits of the site without being prepared to put something back.

Hope that clears up the matter.

Mart.

PS Definately agree aboardman, it would be nice to get rid of the pop up sign!
