Hi, does anybody know of a link to a dictionary of CAPITAL letter jargon, ie, VR, MAP etc, etc, etc. Its doing my head in. All I can say about MS is
it certainly aint people friendly.

Thanks, Ray
Is that like really bad diarrhoea?
I know MAP is manifold absolute pressure and TPS is throttle position sensor and the VR sensor is variable
reluctor which reads from the toothed wheel for megasquirt with added "r"
You have to read
stuff to find out what they all mean, it's no good knowing the abbreviations but not what they do though,I'm ploughing through them
myself at the moment but it's hard going with an old brain and this whisky isn't helping much either.

Peteff unfortunately not using EDIS, so that page no good. As my engine is Ford V6 running on the stock loom, I am converting MS to work using
all the ford wiring and sensors, including the Hall efect distributor, by building an adaptor board to accomodate them, but thanks anyway.
martyn-16v I rather think that you have made my case for me, if the whole thing was aproached in a more people friendly way, then you
wouldn't need to ask questions, or at least not so many.
.
Thanks guys, at least i have found out what a few of the capitaly mean. Regards, Ray
