i defrosted my freezer last night, unfortunately about 2 lb of blackberries did not survive.
if i turn them into apple and black crumble can i freeze the finished article or will i be eating crumble all weekend?
i dont see why you cant refreeze as its not meet, but i doubt it would taste to nice
there should be no problem with making a crumble, cooking it and refreezing it (in case anyone's worried, I am not a "girly" but I just
asked my missus who used to run her own catering business)

Refreezing thawed fruit will usually end up with a load of slush while freezing the finished cooked dish is fine.

Get some sugar and make them into jam John, lots of recipes on the net.
have a crumble party?!
Make the mush and freeze it. itl be fine. Iv got alsorts of that stuff in my freezer. U dont have to make the whole crumble to freeze it.
ok crumble party at mine tonight, bring your own cream/custard etc
make sure you have at least an inch of crumble
As already suggested, reduce them down with some castor sugar, the sweet pulp can then be frozen in bags and used for whatever you want in the future, will probably be usable for months.
