Playstation 2 online help.
Oliver Coles - 5/12/06 at 08:34 PM

A couple of years back i got a ps2 network adapter kit so that i could play games on the internet. We tried then to make it work but got stuck. so afetr two years of doing nothing we decided to have another go. This time we managed to get as far as trying to inter central station but it says it can't make the connection. I think the problem is that we are not sure of the various requirements like ip adresses etc. Does anyone know how to find ip, DNS, Gateway, netmask, DHCP, ppp and pppoe codes on the computer.

Any help would be much appriciated.

Thank you

try opening dos by either start programs accessories msdos or command prompt or start run cmd

then type ipconfig and hit return

that will give you some figures to hopefully get you started

The rest, DNS etc. You can get from your broadband provider.

Easiest solution...............

Get rid of the PS2 and get an Xbox 360.

Far and away your best solution.
