How big is a drop/drip of water out of a pippet ? i.e ml ?

One of my other hobbies is fish (keeping not eating or cathching ) just bought some new decholrinator for my indoor tank problem is its super concentrated the bottle states 1ml to 75.7 liters my bucket holds 10 liters so how many drops do add to a bucket of water ?

just cant suse it

It probably depends on the surface tension of the liquid concerned - compare water to alcohol for example.

Tricky question ...........

according to my tables, 1ml = 15.5 drops

but please wait for somebody to confirm or trash.

A pippete that comes with intertank aquariam treatment. ( a little one) is 1ml.

depending how much water u need to add. If i was adding 20 litres id out quarter of a pippete in. It must be bloody strong stuff.

do it twice
at what you can measure to a bucket, then measure what you put in the tank, from the bucket. think that makes sense

A tea spoon is 5ml if that's any help.

I've kept fish for years. Never used anything other than rain water.
Bits of moss are better for fish than chemicals IMHO

You can buy a small 5ml syringe from your local chemist - often used to give oral medicines to nippers.

Thanks Chris but I have just bought 25 of ebay £5 delivered.

Noticed the other day a few DROC'ers on here the other day ( hope I am not to blame ) . think there are at least 4.

My secret may get out soon .

Must say bloomin good forum, especially for the BEC stuff - well everything actually only a few 'forum trolls about' .

When I was a junior lab.technician many years ago we always worked on the basis of 13 drops of water to the ml. from a Pasteur pipette....ahh. happy days!
