i've traded a laptop in the shop today but its got the old customers name in it in uv pen, anyone know how to get it off ?
Yeah yeah
well i own the computer shop and i sold it to the customer 3 years ago, so i think its ok and not nicked lol
ive been told strong alcohol like vodka will take it of & if nt just drink the vodka & then it will disappear
You're an engimineer - cut it out and weld a pice back in.
A bit like the chassis numbers on cars... so I'm told.

Buy a UV pen block out the old name and wirite your name and postcode on. I was in Brum airport the other day and someone managed a laptop upgrade at
security as there were many plaintive cries on the tannoy asking people to check they had the right laptop

sounds like a job for Mr. Angle Grinder
Good alchohol based stuff will remove it..
WD40 is quite a good solvent for lots of stuff. Not sure what it would do to laptop plastic though... I'd do the block it out and write a new one
method....
Just don't write it on the screen
send me a u2 as i dont want to post how to remove it this will also remove any none removable marker from anything..
