Got a 1999 Gixxer 750, 12k miles coming in, looks immaculate. Service history etc.
Uk model, on an Alderney plate at present but all previous reg. details available.
Available Jan.
£1750
Last couple of bikes Ive had have been a good laugh:
CBR1000 - loads of power, bit lardy
CBR600 - enough poke, lovely handling
Always fancied something with a bit more character though - how about a VTR or SP?
Geoff
I've has a Honda NS125R (full throttle everywhere, changing gears all the time). Not bad size wise for a 125.
Suzuki GS500 (SFA power, good droppability). Too small though.
Suzuki GSX600F (OK power, wee poor dropability) old teapot shaped. Not very roomy.
Honda VTR1000F (Firestorm). Lots of power, nice delivery, quite a big but narrow bike, looks nice, big fat rear tyres and cheap insurance.
I can tell you more about VTRs if you want.
I've even considered selling mine at the moment to fund the MK.
Oh yes, and I'm 6 foot 4 and 19 stone so I know about cramped bikes
I am a 2 stroke man, ah....the smell and the 'ringading' if you have the cash a rg500
What's the tank range like on them, I was put off by the thought of filling up every 100 miles as my Revere does double that. I was looking at one earlier this year in my local bike emporium till my mate the mechanic told me about that. The prices on them are very good though. VFR 800 are nice bikes but expensive servicing, but then again aren't they all till they get as old as my bike. I keep looking but I can't justify swapping my bike and keeping the car and van. Sometimes you have to prioritise.
well, on uk roads, a 600 is plenty to get back to it, and loads of choice, all cheap this time of year, being totally off season............
its prob a good plan to go to a big bike shop and sit on a few you like, then choose a couple u want, then go buy them privatly......
cheeky, but lots do it........... me, never of course!!!!!!

Have owned a ZZR1100 and a FZR1000 a few years ago and loved my ZZR, 141Bhp on the dyno but found it quite expensive in chains and tyres, fantastic
power delivery and much better on journeys than the ZXR and GSXR i owned before it so if the new one is as good as the old i would recomend it

Tut Tut, don't ever judge a book by it's cover, i wouldn't say a Busa is the most gorgous bike in the world but ride one for a day and
honestly tell me looks still put you off
Got a YZF600R on an X plate for sale. Just over 7000 miles. U2U for pics and further details if your interested!
thunderace yzf1000r
I had a ZZR1100 in 1991, loved it. Sold my 'busa back in May (which I'd had for 5 years, longest I'd kept anything).
Great bike, though you may find seat/peg position a bit cramped (I did, and I'm only 5' 11"
)
At a constant 40 on the M25/M4 during roadworks, I got 72 mpg from it, but never managed more than 800 miles from a set of tyres!

I've a CBR 1000 FL for sale. It's in seriously good nick, but got to go as I've got too many toys!
BMW R1150GS. None of the above will pull away from it in the real world, and you have a hoot in the process!
Or a KTM Superduke/990 Supermoto.....
CB400/4 with spokes.

I had a 400/4 years ago. It was flat.....
Get an ord XS650 (or the predecessor - see left). Much better than a brit and the gear lever is on the correct side (unless you get a later
Bonnie.....)!
