Anyone know how to disconnect the drivers airbag on a pug 307 as i have to remove it to get to a faulty horn switch? Or if anyone has had the same
trouble please share.
Thanks
disconnect battery and have a nice cuppa for an hour or so while the capacitor drains down, wear a crash helmet just in case, ive removed loads and
never had a problem
Look at the back of the horizontal spokes, there is a small hole in each one . Use a coople of screwdrivers inserted into holes and pushed against a spring {you have to feel for them} Pull the airbag from the wheel , 2 small connections and its off
So the battery needs to be disconnected and then wait for 1 hour then insert a couple of screwdrivers into the access holes at the rear of the
steering wheel and feel for a spring fastener??
Is that all there is to it apart from eyes tight shut and bottom clenched??
